And here's this installment...Lauryl has disappeared and Eamon has tracked her to Tampa Florida. While passing time in a bookstore, a young woman catches his eye.
Her brown eyes, which burned with irritation at him, drew his attention. They looked almost black against her porcelain skin. She was lovely, like a little gothic doll. He walked over to the aisle where she was and stood a few feet from her. The music that overflowed from the earbuds was from La Bohème. He shifted his position and the delicious smell of her floral perfume and natural scent drifted over to him. He took a deep breath of her, leaned an elbow on the shelf and picked up a book on Tarot cards.
