TA-DAAA!!!

My super secret news is that Life in Moonlight is in production and will be released as an audiobook on March 7, 2017 on Audible.com and Amazon.com and iBooks. I am so freaking excited about this I can't even say! The amazing voice actor who is bringing the book to life is Rob Bayley. He is absolutely incredible! He has the perfect smooth and sexy English accented voice for Eamon and really brings the story to life. I truly lucked out connecting with him! Here are his contact pages: https://rjbayley.com/ for his website, @RJBayley on twitter and https://www.facebook.com/RJBayleyVoiceArtist/?fref=ts on Facebook. He's professional, responds to requests quickly and is just a dream to work with! As the release date approaches, I'll be posting more info about it!

Happy Vladurday!

I'm such a procrastinator

It's a double-edged sword. I keep putting off the main part of Death Hunter because the side stories are way more interesting. And those characters will not talk to me. The other ones won't shut up but I need to focus on the main story l am trying to write. I keep thing maybe if I write backwards I will stumble into the guts of the tale. This is the hardest book I have ever written for some reason. I can't get from point A to point B without getting sidetracked. Well, back to it!

When life gives you Meyer lemons...

So today has been a less than perfect day for me.Everything I seem to touch is going wrong. You don't even want to know how many times I had to edit this. So I am stepping away from my real job as a realtor and writing for today and baking. Over the weekend a great, old friend gave me a ton of citrus from her trees that I have been sharing like crazy but I still have A LOT of. One of the prizes of this gift is some beautiful Meyer lemons (a very close second are the delish and sweet tangerines). So I have been searching for recipes to make. Today's winner is Meyer lemon cream cheese muffins, which are supposed to be highly delicious. The recipe is from Teeniecakes.com and got me excited. Actually I love most any muffin or cupcake so I will probably love them since they resemble tiny cakes. Hopefully, the baking will get me out of my funk and help me feel more productive and more focused on writing the third book. My characters are beginning to talk to me again and today shushed them. So hopefully Eamon, Amelie, Lauryl and even Heydrich will resume talking to me because I so want to finish this book and meet my deadline!

Happy Vladurday!

In Memory of Alan Rickman. One year later.

Yes, this is the 1st anniversary of the death of Alan Rickman. I'm STILL sad about this, which is why I haven't taken any of the pictures of him down from my blog. It's sad that he'll never share his awesomeness in movies or on the stage again. And we never got to see him play a vampire, which he would have just ROCKED. So I am going to watch some of his movies and remember the time I met him after seeing him on stage in Seminar. I hope y'all take time out to remember him today too!

Hello Russian Blog Viewers!!! Or Privet Rossiyskiye zriteli Blog!!

I was doing some digging on my blog and found out that most of my viewer traffic comes from the great nation of Russia! I find that remarkable. I would love to visit Russia but I don't think I will ever get there. I definitely have it on my bucket list but I don't know. From what I have seen in pictures it is absolutely beautiful with a rich history and folklore. I love Russian Orthodox music and art. And the folk art and clothing is so beautiful. So I will have to be content to look at pictures on the internet and enjoy my reader traffic here. I wish you guys would leave a comment for me!

So I wacthed this awesome movie!

I watched the best vampire mockumentary from New Zealand the other evening. It's called What We Do In The Shadows. It had the perfect amount of cheesyness but at the same time the acting was phenomenal. The story follows four vampires of differing ages and backgrounds as they live their nights in Wellington New Zealand. They try and deal with problems such as who does the dishes, how do they lure their victims into their home, popularity and werewolves. I laughed so hard during parts of this film. Written and directed by the multi talented Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi, these guys do not disappoint. They address most of the typical vampire mythos but through the eyes of badassery and dorkiness. Here's a taste via one of the old trailers.

Happy Book Birthday to Blood of New Beginnings!!!

That's Happy Birthday in German. The MAJOR BAD GUY in the book is an infamous German(No not Hitler) so I decided to say Happy Birthday in German. I fictionalized someone historical to make him a vampire and while it was a twisted, emotional journey, I think you will be pleased with the results! In my opinion, Blood of New Beginnings is my best work. I think the pacing is better, the dialog more intriguing and the stakes higher. With that said, I'm giving away an English Kindle copy of the first book, Life in Moonlight to the first person who comments on this posting. It doesn't matter where you live, you just need a Kindle. So Good Luck and Happy Reading!!!
