Happy Winter Solstice!

Happy Solstice everyone! This day just calls to me. I am definitely a winter person and the solstice, with its Pagan roots appeals to me. This day conjures up visions of dark nights with a huge moon and a bonfire burning. The wind would howl, sometimes shaking the windows, and blowing snow against a house in a small Nordic village.
