Made of Awesome AR

behold my new wallpaper on my netbook. eehehehehehehe. I'm in the AR mood because I was watching Something the Lord Made, where he plays a pioneering southern surgeon. he does the most yummy southern accent. very convincing. not overdone. just AR.
so I seem to be in a silent holding pattern about LIM. I haven't heard a peep from the publisher so I am practicing zen waiting. in the meantime I am writing on my other projects.
meanwhile on the triathlon front...I am 34 days away from my Orlando Women's Triathlon. I'm getting nervous. I'm sure I'll do fine but I'm still nervous. nervous because I don't know what to expect. the unexpected is always nerve wracking for me. I seem to be focusing all my energy on this race because it is a first time. I guess that's natural.

  1. Fingers crossed the publisher works out. Have a feeling it will. About the triathelon...my hub's done many of those. I can't/won't do this stuff but accompanied him to events...thought I'd pass on that he learned from the first few to pace himself. He put too much energy into the first leg and had to really stretch later. Make sure you drink a ton of coffee early the morning thereof to empty the system. Then, keep hydrated!!!! Don't refuse that banana. If you feel a cramp coming, walk it out. Run/swim/bike against yourself, not the clock. Above all, don't wear new shoes. Position friends along route...they should have bandaides and/or liquid bandaides, a banana, and water...that glucose stuff is great. Anyway, you probably know this stuff...hub just wanted me to pass this on...with our wishes for a safe, fun event!!!
