Happy Book Birthday to Blood of New Beginnings!!!

That's Happy Birthday in German. The MAJOR BAD GUY in the book is an infamous German(No not Hitler) so I decided to say Happy Birthday in German. I fictionalized someone historical to make him a vampire and while it was a twisted, emotional journey, I think you will be pleased with the results! In my opinion, Blood of New Beginnings is my best work. I think the pacing is better, the dialog more intriguing and the stakes higher. Working on Death Hunter is not easy

So I'm working on Death Hunter, the third in the Primigenio Tales series but DIFFICULT. I tried to write and write until I had close to a draft and then make sense of it but that didn't work. I had to cut more than I could use. Right now I have pieces of the draft spread all through my files. Plus I had some loose work that I planned on using in the book so right now it's like taking apart a microwave and having no idea on how to put it back together. I think I'm going to have to outline the book and then put it back together by the outline, which goes against my pantser tendencies. But it will get done because I have set a a firm deadline for myself. It's not like I don't like the story either. I love it and WANT to write it.

Happy Winter Solstice!

Happy Solstice everyone! This day just calls to me. I am definitely a winter person and the solstice, with its Pagan roots appeals to me. This day conjures up visions of dark nights with a huge moon and a bonfire burning. The wind would howl, sometimes shaking the windows, and blowing snow against a house in a small Nordic village. I also love the ambient music of this day. You can go to Hearts of Space at HOS.com and find music that will resonate in your soul. Go to their website and check out the music of the show Winter Waltz/ Winter White. You won't be disappointed. So on this shortest day and longest night, think about the magic of the Solstice and the images and feelings it evokes.
